Toys chosen the way we'd choose them for our own kids
We started Max & Lizzy because we couldn't find a toy store we trusted for our own kids. So we built one: real wood over plastic, toys sturdy enough to survive years of play, and every piece chosen because it helps a child learn something.
Why wooden, educational, and eco-friendly?
Every product on our shelves is chosen against three questions. Is it made from honest, sustainable materials? Does it hold up to real, everyday play? And does it actually build a skill, such as fine motor control, early language, or spatial reasoning, rather than just occupying a few minutes of attention?
We work directly with manufacturers who share that philosophy, and every toy we carry is safety-tested to ASTM F963 and EN71 standards before it reaches our shelves.
Meet the team
Max & Lizzy is run by a small, hands-on team based here in Yerevan. We test and select every toy ourselves before it goes on the shelf, and we're usually the ones behind the counter when you visit, ready to help you find the right fit for your child.
