Goki Nativity Figure — Balthasar, Blue

Balthasar, one of the three kings, carved and painted in wood as part of goki's nativity range. The blue robe and gold detailing are applied by hand, so no two figures are quite identical. Nativity figures are bought one or two at a time and collected over years, which is much of the pleasure — the scene grows as the family does, and children who are allowed to set it out each December remember doing it long afterwards. Sturdy enough to be handled by children rather than kept out of reach on a high shelf.
